Hi all Aussie Stu again Ok I went to a car show on the weekend, weather was warm but not volcanic say 29 degrees C outside, car parked under a shady gum tree So car sat there for three hours, time to go, went to start and it coughed and died I thought it was crud in fuel filter again, but no Then I felt the pump, it was very very warm probably hot I cooled it down with ice and it started??? Any ideas gang It's a mitsubishi one' usually very reliable, I have a new SU sitting there but have never needed it Do. Electronic pumps get and or stay hot in the boot, um sorry, I mean trunk could it be a wiring issue, don't want it catching fire Any thoughts appreciated Cheers Stu PS 29 degrees C = 84 F Last edited on 04-09-2018 03:27 pm by stuartmorgan |
