Cost is not the only downside. Water ( preferably distilled) is the best heat conductor. A good corrosion inhibiting antifreeze reduces the heat conductivity somewhat, but still within design criteria. Waterless coolants of this type transfer less heat to atmosphere and allow the system to run hotter without boiling. Running at higher temperatures would probably on the 907 have an adverse effect on clearances, carburation and lubrication IMHO. Gordon
