I live in Eastanollee, Georgia, (near Toccoa) so am not too far from you. You are more than welcome to come and take a look at mine although it is an el cheapo eBay vinyl top. I have installed two JH tops before and more recently put a Robin's canvas top on a friends MG Midget and would be more than happy to give you a hand.
