Before I would do anything myself,I would first DEFINITELY call the radiator shop to see if they could redo the work, and if they don't, at least find out what products they used to seal your tank. Undoing the current coating that is inside will make this job much harder.
The 3 companies I mentioned above all do "rustproofing". POR15 is for gas tank and outercoat, Mastercoat for outer surfaces(not sure if they make an internal gas tank sealer). I have never used KBS, but I would imagine it works like the other 2 companies.
