I did a search, but may not have used the right terms so please be kind.. Anyway, took the left front fender {in the USA} or wing if you will {in the UK} off to address a massive undercoating mess. Glad I did as I found a plastic gasket between the wing and the sill that had been riveted to the sill. Is this a correct part? I looked at the diagrams and didn't see it. Anybody use something specific at this junction? I'm thinking about using some thin, very thin, butyl tape to act as a seal...seam sealer proper will harden too much and silicone sealers can contain acids that attach the paint and steel. Thanks for opinions and input....progress is being made
