BETWEEN THE DRAMATIC LOSS OF COMPRESSION, AND THE STRANGE METTALIC SOUNDS WHEN THE TENSIONER DECIDED TO LOOSEN UP AT 40 MPH,I'M NOW FACED WITH DOING A VALVE JOB.(PRAYERS DIDN'T HELP)
IF ANYONE HAS DONE ONE,IS IT SOMETHING SOMEONE REASONABLY ADEPT WITH TOOLS WHO HAS NEVER BEEN INSIDE AN ENGINE SHOULD EVEN ATTEMPT?
IF SO, IS THE SHOP MANUAL ACCURATE ENOUGH TO USE?
ANY OTHER ADVICE?

THANKS IN ADVANCE.....BILL 74 J-H
