 Andy...I thought you were in the Atlanta area...I am in the Nashville area, not too far from you. I do have a lathe (Harbor Freight special) and can do some simple work...and I would appreciate knowing just what you have done...or a "How to do it 101"
My first guess is that it has bushings, not needle bearings as in a U joint..and that you replaced the bushings with bronze..or oilite or..??
