All this talk of lenght got me thinking so I went out to the garage and measured 3 new ones I have on the shelf that Delta sent me last year and they measure 17.25 tip to tip. I have another set on my other car not sure of the lenght but I also noted they do get a bit tight in a full lock turn but so far have not failed me. Brett
