Just pop the shifter assembly off the trans. no need to pull the trans. out, it's a very simple and easy task, take the center consul off to remove the rear mount nut and a couple of bolts underneath.

A word of caution be carefull removing the trudgen collar dont over flex it slide it back and out of the way, let us know how the Delta kit works for you I rebuilt my own and made the replacement bushings out of brass I believe Delta use's the plastic ones so you may end up having to do it agian down the line.

Pete Bahr rebuilds them (see Pete's Kit's) and really does a super job replacing all worn items such as the pins and collars in case you are not happy with what Delta offers.
